Facilities, Docking & Lodge
With 700 feet of steel framed floating docks, the waterfront of Onaway Lodge is second to none. Here you will also find our marina and large fish house which is built over the water.
We offer a large fleet of rental boats, ethanol free gas, ice & minnows, as well as a the nicest fish cleaning house on the lake.
Electricity at the dock also means you can conveniently recharge your trolling motor batteries each night.
Our large docking system has ample room for all boats and includes a grated non-slip composite surface. The docking area is also protected by a unique floating wave brake system. Rest assured your boat will be well protected while at the dock.
The Onaway Lodge “Fish House” is the center of attention at the end of the day as anglers return home with their catch. The fish cleaning room is large, bright and clean. The “Fish House” also houses minnows, free ice and coolers for your fish while on the lake.
New for 2024 is our all new lodge area. The lodge is a central gathering place for guests to enjoy, with Starlink wi-fi, a large TV to watch a game and lots of seating to enjoy a beverage and swap fishing stories.
Be sure to watch for the pet fish that live under the docks and boathouse! (We have walleye, northern and bass)
The west side of our dock also houses our two airplanes, a Cessna 185 and a Beech 18. We use these floatplanes a few times per week to service our fly-in outposts.

Situated over the water beside the dock, guests can gather here at the end of the day to swap fish tales. Complete with Starlink wi-fi, a 70" flatscreen and telephone service, the lodge will be a welcome addition.
